Článek přináší neobvyklý pohled na život a dílo slavného vědce Isaaca Newtona (1643-1727). Je založen na zcela nových poznatcích získaných během posledního půl století a zejména v posledních deseti letech, díky hlubokému studium jeho rukopisů. Newtonovy filozofické, teologické a alchymistické spisy a myšlenky jsou analyzovány a interpretovány z pohledu vědy a širokého historického kontextu.

The article presents an unusual outlook on the life and work of the famous scientist Isaac Newton (1643-1727). It is based on an entirely new knowledge gained during the last half century and especially in the last ten years thanks to the deep studies of his manuscripts. Newton's philosophical, theological and alchemical writings and thoughts are analyzed and interpreted from the perspective of science and broad historical context.
