Kniha je třetím svazkem ediční řady publikované v rámci grantu GAČR. Přináší komentovanou edici specifického typu české vernakulární literatury z 18. století (kramářských písní, preskriptivních spisů, katechismů apod.), která se týkala feminity a maskulinity. Kromě edice svazek obsahuje paratexty jako ediční poznámku, obsáhlé vysvětlivky, slovníček a dvě doprovodné studie, v nichž se analyzuje utváření genderových dichotomií v literatuře tohoto období.

The book is the third volume in the series published under a research project financed by the Czech Grant Agency. It brings a commented edition of a specific type of Czech vernacular literature of the 18th century (cheap prints, ballads, prescriptive treatises, catechisms etc.), which focused on the issues of feminity and masculinity. Beside the edition, the present volume contains also paratexts as an editorial note, comprehesive notes, a glossary and two accompanying studies analysing constructions of gender dichotomies within the 18th-century literature.
