V článku dokážeme, že při stereografické projekci se kružnice ležící na kulové ploše a neprocházející středem promítání zobrazí opět na kružnici. Odvodíme si její poloměr a souřadnice středu. Tyto výsledky pak použijeme pro návrh astronomického ciferníku orloje v různých zeměpisných šířkách.
In the article, we will show that under stereographic projection a great circle lying on the surface of the sphere and not passing through the centre of the projection is mapped into a circle. We will determine the radius of this circle and the coordinates of its centre. Then, we will use the obtained results to design astonomical dials of astronomical clocks in different geographical latitudes.
