První český překlad jedné z nejvýznamnějších prací L,Wittgensteina, čelného představitele moderní analytické filosofie jazyka 20. století. Autor v ní vede diskurs o důkazu existence vnějšího světa inspirovaný studiemi významného anglického filosofa G.E.Moora. Tato zkoumání představují další rozvinutí známé Wittgensteinovy koncepce "jazykových her" jako základního kriteria sémantického smyslu a významu jazykových výrazů. Monografie je opatřena studií, která analyzuje filosofický význam tzv.jazykových her v pozdním díle L..Wittgensteina, jednoho z nejvýznamnějších představitelů anglosaské filosofie 20. století a zakladatele moderní "filosofie běžného jazyka". Ukazuje, jakým způsobem se Wittgenstein v druhé fázi svého filosofického vývoje vyrovnával s předchájící metafyzickou tradicí - ontologií, empirismem a kartezianismem - a jak svým tzv. lingvistickým obratem k přirozenému jazyku a zkoumáním "jazykových her" překonal její největší problémy.

The first czech translation of the Wittgenstein's last philosophical work which appeared in 1969. Wittgenstein offers here a new philosophical approach to ordinary language which is considered to be a new philosophical concept of therapy of the main metaphysical problems of western philosophy. In his philosophy of language Witgenstein considers the language games to be the fundamental basis of our interpretation of knowledge, life and world. The monograph contains the study dealing with the analysis of L.Wittgenstein's philosophical account of the ordinary language games.It proves that Wittgenstein in his new concept of language revealed another possible philosophical attitude towards the nature of classical european metaphysics and tried to overcome its main philosophical problems, i. e. its ontology, empirism and cartesian account of mind.
