Short history of exhibition installations starting with A. Rodin exhibition in Prague 1902 following with exhibitions of Skupina výtvarných umělců (The Group of Fine Artists) in 1912-13, Dada-Messe in 1920, Pablo Picasso in Galerie Petit in Paris 1932, and ending with the installations realized by Frederick Kiesler for Peggy Guggenheim in New York.
