Diskursivní praktiky užívané v těchto formátech podléhají požadavkům žánru a tyto požadavky zároveň vstupují do interakce s identitami mluvčích.

In media interviews based on the asymmetry of their participants’ roles the Gricean model of the Cooperative Principle has to be contextualised with respect to the institutional roles of moderators and their guests. Grice established Cooperation as a general pragmatic principle governing ‘conversation’, however, variant genres of media dialogues may weigh the maxims differently. In the genre of talk-show it is the moderator who controls the interaction, often coflicting. I focus on the discourse practices of negotiation of participants´ roles, positions and identities in the conflicting conversations.
