The book presents and comments about 500 letters from/addressed to or related to French physicist Pierre Curie (1859-1906). They originate from both public and private archives in France and abroad. Pieces of correspondence between P. (and M.) Curie and Austrian authorities regarding radioactive residues from Joachimsthal in Bohemia, dated from 1898-1906, are included.
