    The contribution attempts through few chosen examples to shed some light on the cultural and artistic activity on the territory of the crown lands of Bohemia in the 14th and the beginning of the 15th century, from the perspective of specific parallel with Italian humanism and the early Renaissance of the Italian trecento. The art under Venceslas IV represents paths to "another" Renaissance.
