Příspěvek vychází z výsledků korespondenční ankety, která se uskutečnila kolem roku 1950 a zahrnula středočeskou a severovýchodočeskou nářeční oblast, a z novějších poznatků obsažených v Českém jazykovém atlase. Zaměřuje se na rozbor archaické jazykové situace v severozápadním okraji středočeské nářeční oblasti, sleduje průnik nářečních jevů z oblastí sousedních a určuje ty z nich, které mohly vést k územnímu vymezení okrajového úseku lounsko-litoměřického.

The article explores the results of dialect correspondence surveys from the beginning of the 1950s that were carried out in the central and northeastern Bohemian regions and confronts these results with never data from the Czech Linguistic Atlas. It devotes attention to the analysis of the archaic language situation on the northwestern periphery of the central Bohemian dialectal region, traces the permeation of dialectal phenomena from the neighbouring regionsand determines which of these may have led to the territorial delimitation of the Louny-Litoměřice peripheral zone.
