Flow stability in tube is analysed by using the new thermodynamic condition of stability. This condition is derived from the thermodynamics, especially from the extremal condition for the total energy. In this paper is indicated the theoretical solution of the flow between two rotating cylinders. The Poiseuille and the Couette flow into the annulus are taken as the examples. This analysis supports the experimental findings, i.e., the strong influence of vortex core rotation on the enhancement of flow stability.
