Na základě srovnání tří středoevropských zemí - Československa, Německa a Rakouska, text analyzuje původ a charakter vůdčích osobností, které ovlivňovaly vznik a charakter demokracie v těchto státech, stejně jako její úspěch a stabilitu. V textu je předložena typologie demokracií ve vztahu k uvedeným kritériím.

In a comparison of three Central European countries - Czechoslovakia, Germany and Austria, the text analyses how the origins and characters of the heads of state co-influenced the creation of a type of democracy, as well as their success and stability. The text provides a typology of democracies in accordance with the given criterion.
