Autor prozkoumává jednu z nejvýznamnějších jezuitských postil napsanou M. V. Štajerem. Autor klade zvláštní pozornost na Štajerovo přijetí tradiční homiletiky a odmítnutí nových vlivů, na kompozici kázání (užití čtyřstupňové exegeze) a na užití zdrojů (např. homiletických příruček P. de Outremanna, M. Pexenfeldera a dalších).

The author examines one of main Jesuitic postilas, written by M. V. Štajer. Author puts special focus on Štajer's reception of traditional way of homiletic and reject of new influences, on the composition of sermons (the exegesis in four levels) and on using sources (e.g. homiletic handbooks written by P. de Outremann, M. Pexenfelder and others).
