Autorka analyzuje materiály Prvního přípravného Slovanského sjezdu, který se konal v roce 1908 v Praze. Sleduje reminiscence na byzantskou a jihoslovanskou historii, které se objevily v projevech ruského politika M. V. Krasovského, bulharského historika-profesora S. S. Bobčeva a chorvatského spisovatele a politika A. Tresiće-Pavičiće, a jejich konotace v současné době.

The author analyses proceedings of the First Preparatory Slav Congress, which was held in the year 1908 in Prague. She pursues reminiscences on the Byzantine and South Slav medieval history, which were appeared in the speech of the Russian politician M. V. Krasovskij, the Bulgarian professor-historian S. S. Bobčev and the Croatian writer and politician A. Tresić-Pavičić, and their connotations with the contemporary time.
