Temporally and spatially resolved measurements of the particle velocity and acceleration based on optical tracking the particle trajectory are complicated due to high plasma luminosity. We developed a new method to track the particles in the plasma jet based on illuminating the particles by a pulse of white light and capturing the scattered light from two perpendicular direction by two multi-exposure CCD cameras equipped with a shared rotating mirror wobble unit and two auxiliary mirrors. The light pulse is generated by a capacitive discharge in an inexpensive xenon flash lamp. This experimental setup allows us to get for each particle three or four tracking points from two perpendicular directions, yielding particles velocity and acceleration distributions over the measured volume.
