Pokud se jedná o starší provozovaná potrubí, nelze vyloučit ve stěně potrubí výskyt trhlin. Právě opakovaná přetížení starších provozovaných potrubí jsou předmětem určitých nejasností, pokud jde o zachpvání či porušení integrity.

In the case of older operated pipelines the occurence of cracks in pipe walls cannot be ruled out. Repeated overloading of older operated pipelines is surrounded by some issues concerning the preservation of damage to their integrity, which have not yet been clarified.
