První díl Archeologického atlasu Pražského hradu nabízí čtenářům přehled archeologických nálezů v areálu, který je od nejstarších dob duchovním a urbanistickým centrem Pražského hradu. Jedná se o prostor katedrály sv. Víta, čp. 48 - bývalý biskupský dům, kapli sv. Mořice, Vikářskou ulici a její domy. Všechny prokopané plochy, nalezené relikty, rekonstrukce georeliéfu a hlavních stavebních fází jsou předvedeny na jednotlivých mapách.

The first volume of the Archaeological atlas of Prague castle is offering the readers a review of archaeological finds from the area, which is since the earliest historical times the spiritual and urbanistic centre of Prague castle - the area of St. Vitus cathedral, No. 48 - former bishops house and St. Mauritius chapel, Vikářská street and its houses. The extent of excavated areas, investigated relics, georelief and reconstruction of the main building phases is displayed on individual maps.
