    Processing of the images acquired from the camera attached to the mobile robot in outdoor environment can be used for feature extraction or to distinguish the path the surrounding in the environment. Such information is further used in the planner and/or position estimator. The paper gives the overview of image segmentation method used on real data gathered by mobile robot Bender II during the tests for Robotour 2009 competition.
