    In the paper, the question on the validity of a certain theorem on functional-differential inequalities is investigated. In other words, a certain maximum principle is studied for the first-order linear functional-differential equations. The results obtained are very useful for the investigation of the question on solvability and unique solvability of non-local boundary value problems for first-order functional differential equations in both linear and nonlinear cases.
