Kapitola se zabývá vztahem mezi sociálním postavením a trávením volného času, sportováním a kulturním vkusem. Charakterizuje proměny životního stylu po roce 1989 a za použití dat z výzkumu ISSP 2007 mapuje sociální rozdíly v preferencích, aktivitách, sportování a čtenosti médií. Zaměřuje se především na význam sociálního postavení a gender.

The chapter deals with relationship between social position and leisure time, sports participation and cultural taste. There is a brief characterisation of changes in lifestyle after 1989. Data from ISSP 2007 survey are used for mapping social differences in preferences, activities, sports participation and media readership. The analysis is focused especially at importance of social positon and gender.
