It is known from the dimensional theory that a successful choice of dimensionless parameters can significantly simplify a problem. At present time in the theory of bed load sediment transport the different dimensionless parameters playing the same role are used in the different papers. However, the connections between these parameters often are not evident. In the present paper the known connections are systematized and the connection between the particle parameter and particle Reynolds number is made for the case of motion of the spherical sand particles in water.
