Článek se zabývá detailním popisem struktury a funkce TTS systému: modulu textového předzpracování, fonetické transkripce, a pitch-synchronního syntezátoru řeči s kepstrálním popisem difonového inventáře. Dále je popsána metoda transformace hlasu založená na nelineárním mapování frekvenční osy a korpusově orientovaný TTS systém. V závěru je uveden stručný přehled TTS systémů vytvořených ve spolupráci s naším pracovištěm.

The paper is focused on analysis of basic methods of the speech synthesis: describes the linear speech production model, LPC, sinusoidal (harmonic), and first of all the cepstral speech model including the detailed description of the method of vocal tract transfer function approximation. The methods for evaluation of the synthetic speech quality – subjective and objective – are also there described.
