Publikace představuje zvláštní složku archivu malíře Emila Filly (1882–1953), která byla zakládána a zpracovávána především jako vizuální informace. Přibližně od poloviny dvacátých let si Filla lepil na kartony jednotného formátu A3 fotografie, reprodukce a výstřižky tisků. Zaměřil se výhradně na reprodukce a snímky uměleckých děl.

The book interprets a particular constituent of the archive of the painter Emil Filla (1882–1953), which was founded and worked out primarily as visual information. Since about the half of the twenties Filla glued photographs, reproductions and cut-out prints on cartons of the unified A3 format. He focused solely on reproductions and photographs of art works.
