The paper is concerned with the simulation of inviscid compressible flow. The motion of the boundary of the domain occupied by the fluid is taken into account with the of the ALE (Arbitrary Lagrangian-Eulerian) formulation of the Euler and Navier-Stokes equations discretized by the discontinuous Galerkin finite element method. As the example, the simulation of the flow in human vocal folds is considered and compared with computations carried out by the finite volume method.
