Publikace vypovídá o vztahu Tomáše G. Masaryka s reprezentanty a sympatizanty Národní strany v Čechách. Obsahuje úvodní studii Heleny Kokešové a Jana Bílka Vztahy T. G. Masaryka s představiteli a stoupenci Národní strany v Čechách v zrcadle jejich vzájemné korespondence. Nejobjemnější část knihy představuje edice dvaceti souborů vzájemné korespondence mezi T. G. Masarykem a staročechy, která je v několika případech doplněna přílohami korespondence rodinných příslušníků. Aparát publikace zahrnuje ediční úvod, seznamy editovaných dokumentů a osobní rejstřík. Práce je doplněna anglickým resume.

The book deals with the relationship between Tomáš G. Masaryk and representatives of the National Party in Bohemia and their sympathizers. The publication includes an introductory study by Helena Kokešová and Jan Bílek: Relations between T. G. Masaryk and Representatives of the National Party Reflected in their Correspondence, which was written on the basis of correspondence made available for publication, source research and existing literature. The most extensive section of the book consists of twenty sets of correspondence between T. G. Masaryk and the Old Czechs, which in some cases is supplemented by the correspondence of family members. The subsidiaries include an editorial introduction, lists of edited documents and an index of persons. The work is supplemented by an English abstract.
