Článek se zabývá důkladnějším právním rozborem problematiky rozšíření Protokolu o uplatňování Listiny základních práv Evropské unie v Polsku a ve Spojeném království, který je připojen k Lisabonské smlouvě, také na Českou republiku. Autor v první části připomíná obsah Listiny základních práv EU a v druhé části se zabývá Protokolem. Jedná se o smluvní dokument obsahující preambuli a dva články, který má právní účinky mezinárodní smlouvy.

The article deals with an elaborate legal analysis of the issues concerning the integration of the Czech Republic into the Protocol on the application of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union to Poland and to the United Kingdom, which is attached to the Lisbon Treaty. In the first part, the author mentions the contents of the Charter of Fundamental Rights of the European Union, and in the second part he focuses on the Protocol. It is a contractual document having the legal effect of a treaty and it includes a preamble and two articles.
