Hlavním cílem této studie je ve stručnosti nastínit z organizačního a administrativního hlediska problematiku realizace zahraničních styků Československé akademie věd a současně zpřístupnit vybrané dokumenty týkající se prvních pokusů podniknutých ze strany vedení ČSAV ve snaze řešit otázku vědecké emigrace.

The aim of this article is to describe the foreign relations of the Czechoslovak Academy of Sciencies. Emphasis is placed on organization and administration. The article is based on documents that provide information on one of the first attempts of the Academy to deal with the emigration question.
