Properties of Fröhlich model of collective oscillations of polar molecules in biological cells receiving energy from metabolism and giving it off to ambient are studied. Exchange mechanisms can be linear and nonlinear. Attention is given to condensation of energy in fundamental mode. Occurrence of this phenomenon presupposes that nonlinear interaction coefficient exceeds certain limit. This is not the case in cancerous conditions due to perturbation of electric fields which are necessary for nonlinearity.
