In this work, we present an antibody array for the detection of cancer biomarker candidates by a surface plasmon resonance (SPR) imaging sensor with polarization contrast. Responses from the SPR imaging sensor are shown to be similar to those from a conventional spectroscopy-based SPR sensor. Antibodies are spotted onto a self-assembled monolayer and detection of two cancer biomarker candidates, is demonstrated.
