Příspěvek se zaměřuje na to, jakým způsobem hodnotí stálí obyvatelé města Brna možnosti samosprávy a soukromé sféry při revitalizaci brownfields. Interpretace jednotlivých postojů jsou založeny na analýze vybraných otázek z vlastního dotazníkového šetření, jehož se v červnu 2009 zúčastnilo 382 respondentů. V závěru jsou uvedeny některé poznatky a doporučení, které mohou být důležité i z hlediska budoucích rozhodování v oblasti municipální politiky.

The contribution deals with the issue how the permanent inhabitants of Brno perceive the role of the self-government authorities and private sector subjects in the process of brownfield’s revitalisation. The interpretations are based on the analyses of the selected questions from the questionnaire survey which was realised in June 2009 with 382 respondents. In conclusion, there are information and recommendations which can be useful for future modifications of the municipal policies.
