Ve svém příspěvku argumentuji, že při zabývání se starší filosofií je třeba mít na zřeteli nejen hermeneutická kritéria interpretace textu, nýbrž je třeba aktualizovat svůj přístup na základě aktuálních filosofických problémů.

In my paper I argue that in dealing with ancient philosophy it is necessary to take into account not only the hermeneutical criteria but also the contemporary philosophical issues.
