The paper brings results of pollen and macroscopic analyses of two small springs fens at Turček, Kremnické vrchy, Slovakia. They were evaluated for reconstruction of precultural vegetation, extent of deforestation, and transformation of landscape especially under the mining activies during the 13th and 14th centuries.
