    We study the properties of twin kilohertz quasiperiodic oscillations (QPOs) with a simple toy model consisting of two oscillation modes coupled with a general nonlinear force. We examine resonant effects by slowly varying the values of the tunable, and nearly commensurable, eigenfrequencies.
