Nedávno dokončená osnova nového českého civilního kodexu představuje těžiště projektu reformy soukromého práva v České republice. Dvě desetiletí se tady diskutuje o nutnosti změn občanského práva pod vlivem zdejších společenských a sociálních poměrů. Podstata je v obratu paradigmat od sociálního inženýrství k úctě vůči privátní sféře jednotlivce.

A recently completed draft of the new Czech Civil Code represents the focus of the project concerning the reform of Private Law in the Czech Republic. For two decades, the necessity to adjust Civil Law to the changes of local social conditions has been discussed. The subject-matter is in the paradigm shift from social engineering towards the respect for a private sphere of an individual.
