Combination of the an initio bandstructure and dynamical mean-field theory is used to study simultaneous high-spin low-spin and metal-insulator transtion in hematite (Fe2O3). Comparison to isoelectronic MnO is made. We identify two distinct ways the insulating high-spin stay may be destabilized.

Pomocí kombinace ab initio pásové struktury a teorie dynamického středního pole studujeme simultánní přechod spinový a kov-izolátor v hematitu (Fe2O3). Výsledky jsou srovnány s isoelektronickým MnO. Identifikujeme dva odlišné způsoby destabilizace vysokospinového stavu izolátoru.
