Studie se zabývá rodovými legendami a fiktivními postavami v genealogiích české a moravské šlechty. Na několika příkladech jsou ukázány strategie jednotlivých rodů dokázat starý původ a posílit tak svoji prestiž.
The article concerns family legends and fictitious figure in the genealogies of Bohemian and Moravian aristocratic families. Several examples show the strategies employed by the individual families to prove their ancient bloodlines and to bolster family prestige.
