Kapitola se zabývá vlivem usazených srážek na vodní a látkovou bilanci v Jizerských horách. Jsou představeny jednotlivé druhy usazených srážek (mlha, rosa a zmrzlá rosa, jíní a jinovatka, námraza) a pro meteorologickou stanici Bedřichov byly vyhodnoceny klimatologické standardy trvání a četnosti výskytu jednotlivých typů usazených srážek za období 1961 – 1990. Pro odběr vzorků vody z mlhy a nízké oblačnosti byly v Jizerských horách osazeny aktivní a pasivní odběrová zařízení. Chemické analýzy odebraných vzorků prokázaly vysoký faktor obohacení všech sledovaných chemických komponent; význam usazených srážek v dané oblasti byl prokázán.

The chapter deals with the influence of the occult precipitation on the both water and mass balance in the Jizerské hory Mts. The individual types of occult precipitation are introduced (fog, dew and white dew, soft rime and hoar frost, rime) and climatologic standards of the duration and the frequency of the occurrence of the individual types of occult precipitation were evaluated at the Bedřichov meteorological station during the course of the time period 1961 – 1990. The both active and passive collectors for the collection of water from fogs and low clouds were installed in the Jizerské hory Mts. The chemical analyses of the collected water samples confirmed the high enrichment factor for each of evaluated chemical compounds; the importance of the occult precipitation in this region was proved.
