Kapitola poskytuje přehled českého parlamentarismu, představuje jeho současnou podobu a základní struktury jeho vnitřní organizace. Kapitola popisuje historii českého parlamentarismu, strukturu českého parlamentu, vztahy obou komor a jejich odlišné pravomoci. Dále analyzuje vnitřní organizaci parlamentu, především základní parlamentní orgány jako jeho vedení, kluby a výbory. Na závěr shrnuje základní faktory institucionalizace českého parlamentu v posledních dvou desetiletích.

The chapter provides an overview of the Czech Parliamentarism, describes its current shape and basic internal structures. It describes the history of the Czech parliamentarism, its internal structure, relations between chambers and their different powers. It also analyses internal organization of the parliament, especially leadership, parliamentary party groups and committees. At the end it summarizes the basic factors shaping institutionalization of the Czech parliament in the last twenty years.
