    Basic problems of plasma gasification of biomass are analyzed and plasma technology is compared with classical ones. Special attention is devoted to utilization of CO2 for plasma assisted oxidation of carbon containing material and transformation of CO2 to CO. Experiments with various kinds of biomass in reactor with hybrid gas/water-stabilized arc are described. Syngas with high content of hydrogen and carbon monoxide and very low content of complex hydrocarbons and tar was produced.

    Jsou analyzovány problémy zplynění biomasy v plazmatu. Pozornost je věnována využití CO2 jako oxidačního media a transformaci CO2 na CO. Jsou uvedeny výsledky experimentů na plazmovém reaktoru s vodou stabilizovaným obloukovým plazmatronem. Byl získán plyn s velmi nízkým obsahem dehtů a vyšších uhlovodíků.
