Součástí lipenského masivu jsou biotitické granity typu Weinsberg a dvojslídné granity typu Eisgarn. Jejich chemické složení ukazuje na vznik magmatické taveniny parciálním tavením heterogenní moldanubické zemské kůry.
Within the Lipno granite body biotite granites of the Weinsberg type and two-mica granites of the Eisgarn type occur. Their chemical composition imply magma generation by partial melting of heterogenous Moldanubian crust.
