Autorka se zamýšlí nad otázkami spojenými s interpretací a inscenováním anonymního dramatu 12. století, Ludus Danielis. Toto drama stojí na pomezí liturgického a starozákonního dramatu (her o prorocích), ale oba tyto útvary uchopuje v karnevalovém duchu Svátku bláznů.

Issues of interpretation and staging of Ludus Danielis, an anonymous drama of 12th century are discussed in the chapter. The drama bears signs of both the liturgical plays and of prophet plays, yet it cannot be characterized as either of them. It puts both these genres into the context of the Feast of Fools.
