    Two seed lots of Lamb's Quarters (Chenopodium album agg.) that had different start germination (17%, 8%) and different stage of dormancy were used for stimulation of their germination by using a low-pressure discharge. Various exposition times of cold plasma treatment were used. Variable of ratio cumulative germination was calculated. The Richards’ equation was used for curve-fitting and simulation of growth curves. Population parameters (Vi – viability, Me - time, Qu - dispersion, and Sk - skewness) counted from the curves described the germination rate well. Significant differences among Qu confirmed the erratic dormancy and gradual germination of Lamb's Quarters. No difference in Me parameter was found between two tested seed lots, so no interspecies characteristics were changed using low-pressure discharge. It has been suggested that plasma treatment changed seed germination in Lamb's Quarters seeds.

    K modifikaci chladným plazmatem (za různých expozičních časů) byly použity dva sety semen merlíku bílého s různým stupněm klíčivosti (17%, 8%). Pro fitování a simulaci růstu byla použita Richardsnova rovnice. Signifikantní rozdíly v populačním parametru Qu mezi všemi použitými vzorky potvrzují nerovnoměrnou dormanci a postupné klíčení. Mezi sety semen nebyly nalezeny žádné signifikantní rozdíly v parametru Me. Při plazmování pravděpodobně nedochází ke změnám v vnitrodruhových charakteristikách klíčících semen merlíku bílého.
