Cílem příspěvku je charakterizovat postavení národnostních (etnických) menšin v pobaltských republikách v letech 1918–1938, postavení etnických menšin a národů v letech 1945–1989 ve srovnání se současnou situací; vymezit rozdíly v daných obdobích.

This paper tries to describe and characterize positions of nationality (ethnic) minority groups of the Baltic states in the years 1918–1938, to compare positions of ethnic minorities and nations of the years 1945–1989 with their present positions; to define differences between Baltic minorities.
