Obsáhlá monografie, líčí pobyt císaře Karla VI. a jeho choti Alžběty Kristýny v Čechách roku 1723, jejich korunovaci a další slavnosti spojené s přítomností císařského dvora v Praze. Zvláštní pozornost je věnována výkladu symbolického významu slavnostní opery Costanza e Fortezza, pamětních medailí, alegorických grafických listů a dalších ikonografických pramenů reflektujících tuto událost.

An extensive monography describes the coronation visit of the emperor Charles VI and his wife Elisabeth Christine in Bohemia 1723, their coronation ceremonies and other festivities held during the stay of the imperial court in Prague. Especial attention is paid to the interpretation of the festive opera Costanza e Fortezza, of commemorative medals, engravings with allegorical subject and other iconographical sources reflecting this event.
