Trends in multiple characteristics of heavy precipitation are evaluated using a new dataset from 175 rain-gauge stations covering the period 1961–2005. The temporal changes are generally more pronounced in the western than eastern part of the country. Spatially coherent increasing trends are identified for all indices of heavy precipitation in winter in the western region.

Trendy většího počtu charakteristik vydatných srážek jsou vyhodnoceny s využitím nové databáze ze 175 srážkoměrných stanic za období 1961–2005. Změny jsou obecně výraznější v západní než východní části území ČR. Prostorově koherentní kladné trendy jsou identifikovány pro všechny indexy vydatných srážek v zimě v západní části území.
