Článek připomíná veřejné mínění v Praze v letech 1858-1859, kdy tu proběhly Schillerovy oslavy, byl vztyčen pomník maršálu Radeckému a proběhla tu - jako projev českého národního uvědomění - oslava narozenin J. E. Purkyně.
The article describes the public opinion in Prague 1858-1859; at that time an anniversary of F. Schiller was observed and monument to W. Radecký was erected. These events gave opportunity to develop of Czech and German national movement.
