Oba, Masaryk i čeští národní socialisté usilovali od počátku 20. století o politickou emancipaci českého národa. Jejich vztahy však nebyly bez problémů. Masaryk si uchoval kritický postoj k této straně i poté, kdy se stal prezidentem Československé republiky.

Both Masaryk and Czech National Social Party struggled from the beginning of 20th century for the political emacipation of Czech nation. But their relationship was not without problems. Masaryk was very critical towards the party and remaind so after he became a President of Czechoslovak republic.
