    The detailed vibration stability analysis of a beam in air flow using linear mathematical model is presented in the article. The stability conditions, that are particularly important for the flutter and divergence onset are presented as special cases of the general theory.

    Obsahem článku je podrobná analýza stability kmitání štíhlého prizmatického nosníku v proudu vzduchu. Podmínky nejdůležitějších případů ztráty stability jako je flutter a divergence vyplývají jako speciální případy z navržené obecné teorie.
