Článek Josefa Förstera se zabývá popisem českého orientu v latinských dílech českých františkánských misionářů aktivních v horním Egyptě v 18.století. Sleduje vývoj kompozice jejich děl a předmět orientu s důrazem na kontrastní motivy.

The article concentrates on the depiction of the Orient in the Latin works of Czech Franciscan missionaries active in Upper Egypt in the 18th century. The autor follows the development of the composition of their works and the subject of the Orient, with an emphasis on contrasting motifs those dominate the works; the article also adresses the depiction of Islam, Coptic Christianity and their adherents.
