The paper deals with the issue of Francisco Suárez's doctrine of the unity of metaphysics in the light of his theory of the concept of being. It proceeds by the giving answer to the wide-spread objection "from the logization", according to which the notion of being in Suárez's theory is to be considered as the logical and univocal "super-genus", which cannot serve as the fundamental unifying principle of his metaphysics. On various planes of Suárez's metaphysical system the author argues against that interpretative tendention to show that the Jesuit's metaphysics is to be regarded as specifically one science, whose unity is based on the unity of its adaequate object.

Studie se zabývá problémem jednoty metafyziky u Františka Suáreze ve světle jeho teorie pojmu jsoucna. Článek odpovídá na rozšířenou námitku "z logizace", podle níž je třeba pojem jsoucna v Suárezově doktríně považovat za logický a univoční "super-rod", který nemůže sloužit jako sjedocující předmět jeho metafyziky. Na různých ropvinách Suárezova metafyzického systému autor argumentuje proti této interpretativní tendenci, aby ukázal, že Jezuitovu metafyziku je třeba púovažovat za specificky jednu vědu, jejíž jednota je založena na jednotě jejího adekvátního předmětu.
