V roce 2008 byly na Uherskohradišťsku dendrochronologicky datovány dvě stodoly původně náležející k hospodářskému zázemí domů situovaných v tradičně utvářené vesnické zástavbě. Obě stavby jsou historicky cennými památkami, zejména díky dřevěné konstrukci stěn, která je pro tento kraj poměrně typická. Jde o kombinaci roubení (nárožního přeplátování) a drážkové konstrukce s vertikálními nosnými sloupy.

In 2008 two remarkable timber barns belonging to traditional masoned vernacular houses were dendrochronologicaly dated (1845/46 and 1861/62) in the region of Uherske Hradiste in the south-east of Moravia. Both of them are among listed historic monuments mostly due to wooden structure of their walls, which is quite typical for the area. It is made from partially squared timber poles laid horizontaly between grooved posts. The poles are overlapped at the corners as is usual in log cabines.
